About Thanal Society
Thanal Society is a registered, non-profit welfare society of Union Bank of India officers in Kerala, affiliated to AIBOC — Beyond Support, A Shadow That Cares.
Who we are
Thanal Society (Reg. No. TVM/TC/450/2025) is a democratically governed, non-profit welfare society formed by and for Union Bank of India officers across Kerala. It is affiliated to the All India Bank Officers' Confederation (AIBOC).
What we do
The Society operates a member welfare corpus and a network of negotiated benefits. Our activities include:
- Member welfare corpus — each member builds a refundable corpus through a monthly subscription, returned to the member (or nominee) as per the Society's Bye-Laws.
- Welfare tie-ups — negotiated prices, discounts and priority facilities from partner brands across healthcare, tourism, education, retail and more, in all 14 districts.
- Guest houses — association guest-house access for members.
- Dyuthi & culture — the annual cultural mega-fest and sporting events of the officer fraternity.
How we are governed
A democratically elected Governing Body manages the Society transparently, with accounts audited annually. Office bearers include the Chairperson, President, General Secretary, Working President, Treasurer and Land & Asset Administrator.
